Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of Onwards, a private mobile service operated from India. By creating an account or using Onwards, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
• You are responsible for protecting your password, device, and account access.
• You must notify us promptly if you believe your account is compromised.
• You may not impersonate someone else or create an account for abusive or unlawful purposes.

3. The service

Onwards lets users organize Dreams, Saves, Little Joys, and related content in Personal and Shared Spaces. Shared Space members can see and interact with content made available to that Space. Features may change as the service develops, and some announced features may not yet be available.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Onwards a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, legal, security, and Shared Space retention requirements.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or share content, including links, images, and documents. Do not upload confidential information you are not authorised to share.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use Onwards to violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or another person's safety.
• Harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, or abuse another person.
• Upload malware or attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or security controls.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, overload, resell, or interfere with the service except where law expressly permits.
• Use automated systems to create accounts, send unsolicited messages, or access private content.

6. Availability and changes

Onwards is provided online and may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, security work, or circumstances outside our control. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes that significantly affect active users.

7. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using Onwards at any time and request account deletion through Support. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address unlawful or abusive activity, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to contact us.

8. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Onwards is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Onwards is not professional medical, legal, financial, or relationship advice.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Onwards will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or loss of data, goodwill, revenue, or opportunity arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights provided by mandatory consumer law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the laws where you live.
